Sea Turtle Watching
Light walking, evening experience, only available at certain times of the year
Join an evening visit to Praia Grande to learn about the sea turtles that nest on Príncipe’s remote beaches and the conservation work led by our non-profit partner, Fundação Príncipe.
Between November and February, female turtles come ashore to lay their eggs, while from February to April hatchlings make their way to the ocean. If conditions allow, you may have the rare opportunity to witness one of these extraordinary moments in nature.
